MODENA, ITALY
Modena is located in the heart of the Emilia Romagna Region. It is an ideal communications hub between Southern and Northern Italy and between Italy and the rest of Europe. It is 40 km from Bologna, 130 from Florence, 170 from Milan and 200 from Venice.

PalaPanini or Palazzo delloSport ``Giuseppe Panini`` was opened in 1985 and includes the main play area (52m x 35m) which can be divided into 3 distinct areas. The facilities also contain locker rooms, an infirmary, gyms, special halls for martial arts, a sports medicine office, offices, meeting rooms, a press room, a bar and the ticket office.
